We are by no means large-scale or commercial breeders but we are DEFRA registered breeders and occasionally have spare birds for sale. We strongly believe in the value of high-quality, pure bred stock which gives you not only the pleasure of owning your own chickens but the knowledge that your birds are top quality and truly representative of a breed and its heritage.

Plymouth Rocks can be very good layers, particularly over the winter months, and as a dual-purpose breed can also offer table potential - ideal as an exhibition or utility breed. Plymouth Rocks are one of the world's oldest and most successful breeds of poultry. Classified as a dual-purpose breed today's birds are hardy, formidable egg or meat producers and extremely capable broodies. Add to this a wonderful temperament, charming character and beauty, availability in large fowl and miniature bantam versions, and a tendency to frequently win major show awards, one can easily see the attraction of Plymouth Rocks.
